Meet the Artist
Jauneth Skinner is an award-winning artist, illustrator, and printmaker who was born in Waco, Texas.
Skinner has an extensive list of juried exhibitions. She has had 25 solo and two-person exhibits. Her work has been included in numerous national and international exhibitions and publications and are included in more than 150 museum, corporate, and private collections in the USA and abroad.
Illustrator
I am a Fellow of the Society of Botanical Artists (SBA), and a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA).
Other illustration projects include design and illustrations for the Way of the Cross, and portraits for the fourth edition of a college textbook. I am available for freelance work and commissions.
Printmaker
I create limited edition hand pulled prints on archival papers, creating a series of images based on a theme.
Linocuts, intaglio etchings, and monotypes are my favorite processes, and I often combine techniques for their expressive qualities. I have participated in 37 portfolio exchanges with other artist printmakers from the USA and abroad. My work is represented in portfolios in corporate, museum, university, and private collections in the USA, Europe, the UK, China, Iceland, Finland, Australia, and Bhutan.
